Manufacturing home textiles since the day is was established, Yeşim Textile has collected product items it manufactures in this category under the “Yeşim Home” brand and is starting to offer the products under that brand to customers.
Positioning itself as a manufacturer brand in the industry, in the recent years, Yeşim Textile has been undertaking efforts to market the products it manufactures in certain categories under its own brands. After introducing its products manufactured using organic yarn under the “Yeşim Organic” brand and products manufactured using recyclable yarn under the “Yeşim Recycle” brand, it will not start marketing its home textile products under the “Yeşim Home” brand.
Having recently applied for a patent covering the “Yeşim Home” brand, the company aims to reach new customers in addition to the current ones through catalogs it is planning to prepare in the framework of this concept. Production Manager Mustafa Demiralay of Yeşim Textile said “Despite the fact that Yeşim Textile is currently perceived as an apparel manufacturer, it had initially started production from home textiles. Our success as a manufacturer of home textiles back then encouraged us to start manufacturing apparel and gave us new opportunities.”
Highlighting the company’s eagerness to lead in terms of their textile portfolio as they do in apparel, Mr. Demiralay said that from now on, the company would offer its home textile products under the “Yeşim Home” brand. Mr. Demiralay further said: “It is our target to market the product items we manufacture in this category under our new brand and increase the recognition of our home textile products.”
Under the “Yeşim Home” brand, Yeşim Textile will manufacture drapery, tablecloths, upholstery and bedclothes in the home textiles category. In addition to 100% polyester and cotton-polyester blends in Yeşim’s home textiles product range, there are items with 100% cotton content that the company has been manufacturing for 2 years.
Collections are prepared by the company in three product groups of drapery fabrics, namely tulle curtains, background fabrics and fabrics for roller blinds and in two product groups of upholstery fabrics, namely velvet and woven fabrics. Moreover, a separate collection is prepared thematically every season for table cloths and runner fabrics.
