Yesimspor Club

Yeşimspor ClubYesimspor Club was founded on 24th January 2003 in order to provide wider possibilities for sporting activities for the young people of Bursa, and to nurture the team’s own basketball players of tomorrow. Yesimspor has enjoyed considerable success in Bursa, and has been recognized by numerous awards and medals obtained at national level.

The main branch of the club, whose colors are blue and orange, is basketball. Under Club Director Cem Cagal, the club’s 10 coaches train and nurture a total of 230 young players, 130 as subs and 100 in the competition squad. Yesimspor has scored successes in various basketball categories – A team, Star team, Youth and Boys teams. In the 2003-2004 season, Yesimspor won the A Team Regional Basketball League Bursa championship and was invited to the Federation 2nd League where it played for three seasons. The Club chose to leave the 2nd League in 2006 and now concentrates on its “Player Development and Gaining Players for Turkish Basketball’” project that has become a model in its field.

Şükrü Şankaya Football School

The Şükrü Şankaya Football School, built by the Professional Football Players Association of Bursaspor, is provided with financial and moral support, enabling hundreds of children to play sports under professional conditions. In addition, within the quota determined every year, the children of Yeşim employees have the opportunity to benefit from the school free of charge.
