Yeşim Textile Inc, during the Gong ceremony in Borsa İstanbul , has, in collaboration with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women and the United Nations Global Compact and Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative, undersigned the "Women’s Empowerment Principles" (WEPs), which was established together by UN Women and UN Global Compact, for equality of women and men, and to empower women in the economic life.

Borsa İstanbul and in collaboration with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, and the United Nations Global Compact, and Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative has hosted a Gong Ceremony on March 6th in order to raise awareness on equality of women and men, and empowerment women in the economic life.

Yeşim Textile Inc, together with 18 corporations, which included Coca Cola İçecek (CCI), Hürriyet Inc, Zorlu Holding, and Anadolu Efes, has signed the "Women’s Empowerment Principles" (WEPs), which was established by UN Women and UN Global Compact. Dilek Cesur, Corporate Communications Director of Yeşim Textile, has signed WEPs during the ceremony. WEPs, which defines the principles for the empowerment of women is a joint initiative by United Nations Entity for Gender Equality (UNWomen) and United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and provides valuable insight on supporting gender equality in the private sector, work places, market and in the society.
