The new route for ready wear apparel is Japan

Şenol Şankaya, CEO of Yeşim Textile said that Yeşim Textile will start exporting to Japan in December. “Europe is a very important market for Turkey, and sectors such as textile, ready wear and automotive are exporting 85-86 % of their products to Europe” said Şankaya and added “Europe will continue to be our main market but we are also looking for alternative markets”. Şankaya, who said that there are very serious problems in European countries added that “As a market it is the most stationary market in the world compared to developing markets, there is also a negative trend. Therefore we need to closely monitor Europe”.

“Japanese customers requested more organic products from us and we are starting a very productive cooperation in ready wear apparel” said Şankaya and added “Japan opened its doors to Turkish companies. There are very nice news. It is still early to say names now. In December we will export products for the first time to Japan. In the upcoming months Turkey will start exporting its great products to Japan. We are looking forward to show the quality of our ready wear apparel and the strength of Turkey to Japanese people.”
